A 2 way or 3 way splitter can be connected to the Huaptec amplifier using a jumper cable. Cable is then run to additional antennas or APs in other parts of the property. These antennas rebroadcast the signal into those rooms and help extend coverage.
A Huaptec system is mainly designed for open plan spaces and in ideal conditions can cover up to around 300m². In real installations, internal walls reduce signal strength because they absorb the mobile signal.

When connecting to a DAS, it is important to press the SET button until the mode light changes from green to blue. This disables the internal antenna output and sends the signal fully to the DAS antennas.
With the correct setup, this can significantly improve signal coverage in rooms that would otherwise have poor mobile reception.
