The 4s is almost the same specification as its big brother the 5s model,  it supports the 4 main UK bands, covering voice, 3G & 4G, it has one less band then the 5s model, the 700 MHz is not included.  The 700 MHz is a nice to have feature but your signal boosted indoors will be almost as good with the better priced 4s amplifier and will work just as well in almost every case.  The 700 MHz was previously only used for TV and the band has been cleared if all TV broadcasting usage, so it can be used by the mobile operators in the future most likely for additional data broadcasting. 

The 4s model is again the lower powered10dB strength unit, as a result it is ideal for areas where the outdoor signal is strong, where signal is below 2 bars the unit will still work but the coverage will be severely reduced. 

It is definately the best value and cheapest self instal home mobile phone amplifier in the UK that does meet Ofcom regulations, people who purchase illegal amps can do so for about £300 but face up to one year in prison and unlimited fines, as these cheap amplfiers can damage the basestation.

Huaptec is the only supplier that covers all networks in the home at once. The reason the power is low is to allow the amplifier cover all networks at once and not overload the basestations.  This domestic signal booster is Ideal for people who have good coverage outdoors but none indoors and need a small to medium sized area of the home covered.

What coverage Indoors you can expect from a Hi-Boost Signal Booster?

The data sheet claims 1500m square coverage! Yes, this is true but is based on lababortary conditions and should not be taken as possible in the real world. The 1,500m is based on being beside a high powered base station with an input of about 30db with a full line of sign to the tower and then being broadcast into a open plan room from the Huaptec amplifier.

The fact you are likely many miles from the main tower if you are in the countryside, or if you live in the city have no line of sight, this means your input from the outdoor aerial is about 10-20% of that lab test, so your coverage will be 150m to 300m square if you have a open plan room. If your home has walls it will further reduce the coverage This is the same for all amps and only commercial amplifiers with a highly designed DAS can overcome this and give you full coverage in larger homes and buildings.

What bands does the HiBoost Hi10-4s Broadcast?

The hi10-4s Supports Voice, 3G & 4G across these 4 bands LTE800, EGSM900, DCS1800, WCDMA2100 MHz.

As a result of the multiple bands this one amplifier will cover all networks at once and there is no need for additional amplifiers like there is with Cel-fi which does only one network per amplifier.

Do we recommend the Huaptec Hi10- 4s ?

For self install into small areas, we recommend the Hi10-4s 100% but for commercial or high quality home installations we recommend you speak to out team of specialists for options with larger coverage capacity and remote monitoring options.

Huaptec is probably the best cell phone booster for most homes, its 4 bands cover what is needed now and likley will for the next 10 years,  so unless you really need the extra band we recommend the HiBoost 4s which is cheaper and just as reliable as the more expensive 5s model.

I would recommend either this or the 5s model cell phone home signal booster for anyone with a number of different networks in the one house, if you have the additional budget to add 700 MHz, it may be worth the extra but keep in mind it may be some time before you see 700 MHz nationwide.
